We talk a lot about running in our house. Last night, at the dinner table, we were talking with the kids about my quest to improve my running speed. I was able to make videos of them separately.
First, here’s a video of nine-year-old Miss Sassy Pants. The video ends abruptly due to some technical problems on the filmmaker’s part (!). Also, there’s a special guest appearance of Jimbo, the yurbuds-eating Bassett Hound.
Then, I interviewed six-year-old Little Buddy. He’s really into “Opposite Day” right now, as you’ll see in the clip.
As you can see, it’s never a dull moment at our place!

Hee Hee! I have to admit I think fartleks are pretty funny too! Too cute
Yes, I knew that Little Buddy’s reaction would be a good one!
They could not be any cuter! Love their reactions to ‘fartlet.’
Very cute!
When my boys were younger, they would sit on the couch while I was working out and give me live advice during my workouts! “Hey mom, how come you aren’t touching your toes like he is?”
Love kids! What a fun way to get them involved with your running and your blogging!
Anne
Thanks, Anne! We really enjoy being a running family!
This was precious. Thanks for sharing your family with us. I found myself giggling many times.
Thanks, Melanie!
“Seriously?!” Hahaha!
My fave was when you told your son you wanted to run faster and he laughed his butt off. Kids are so subtle….:) She CAN do it!!!! Come on, have a little faith in us ladies!!!
Ha! That is the first thing I noticed, too, when I watched the video for the first time! Ouch! Kids can be so honest sometimes!
