Super Bowl Work Out From SparkPeople.com

Super Bowl Work Out

Have you seen the Super Bowl Work Out from SparkPeople.com? It’s great! It’s just like a drinking game – except it’s good for you! I’m going to do this with the kids. To access a printable .pdf of the document, check out the Daily Spark.

#MilesOfShame Bet

#MilesOfShame

So, before I placed my bet in the #MilesOfShame wager on San Francisco, I really didn’t care much about the Super Bowl today. However, now I am anxiously awaiting the game and the outcome! I figure – I win either way. If San Francisco wins, I win. If San Francisco doesn’t win, I have to run. I’m good with either result! But I am really eager to see the difference in the score. Eight to ten miles will be fine with me to run. Fifteen plus miles might prove a bit more challenging.

I hope to be on Twitter during the game (@TufMotherRunner).

Old El Paso Spicy Fat Free Refried Beans

My Super Bowl Staple – Old El Paso Spicy Fat Free Refried Beans

Any time I’m having Tex-Mex food, like I am today for the Super Bowl, I also make my healthy version of 7-Layer Dip. The first layer of 7-Layer-Dip is always refried beans, a terribly unhealthy food. Not anymore! A few years ago, I discovered Old El Paso brand Spicy Fat Free Refried Beans. They are simply delicious! So good, in fact, that they can be eaten as a bean dip all by themselves. It makes me wonder why anyone would want to add lard to beans, when these Old El Paso Spicy Fat Free Refried Beans are so deelish! Each 1/2 cup serving also has 6 grams of fiber in it. If you love Tex-Mex food, you’ve got to try these!

A Little Gender-Based Humor

I love the Super Bowl, and I enjoy college football tremendously. That’s what happens when you live in the same town as Johnny “Football” Manziel! Hope you enjoy this little cartoon today!

Oh, and one last thing …. Go Forty-Niners! If you don’t win, at least keep it close! #MilesOfShame

I LOVE the game ideas — I’m a HUGE football fan so I’m stoked for the game! I picked the Ravens though – but I’m with you — I’m good with either outcome. My team isn’t in so it’s ok :)

  2. Debbie says:

What a fun game! I was wondering if I missed the announcement of the Enell Bra winner?

  3. I saw this post on Sunday, and thought of you the entire time the game was on. When the Ravens were up by quite a lot, I got worried you would be running that Marathon. Like you said, you’ve still won!

Go for it, I’m cheering on!

Thanks, Yolanda! It was a little dicey there until the lights went out, eh? :) I was really relieved that San Francisco came back so closely. Being part of the bet made the whole game a lot more interesting and exciting! Thanks for sending good vibes my way, girl!
