Recently, an email arrived to ask me to apply to be a part of the team of bloggers supporting Pretty Muddy, an event that would be taking place in Dallas on June 1. Pretty Muddy? Hmmm. Images of relaxing mud masks and spa treatments floated through my head. Ahh, yes. I would be very interested. Where do I sign up?
I soon learned that Pretty Muddy had a different kind of mud mask in mind. More like this.
Well, OK. Not quite the mud mask I envisioned. But hey – I’m definitely up for an adventure! Let’s go!
June 1 – Dallas, Texas
So, on June 1, in Dallas, instead of climbing the corporate ladder, I’ll be climbing this ladder:
On June 1, in Dallas, instead of having a spa treatment and mud bath, I’ll be taking a different kind of mud bath.
On June 1, instead of doing laundry, I’ll be washing my clothes in this innovative system.
Team Pretty Muddy – I’m In!
So I’m happy to say that I’m proud member of Team Pretty Muddy Dallas, and I’ll be running their 5K Mud/Obstacle Race on June 1. I can’t wait to wake up early on that Saturday and throw myself into a pit of mud. Seriously!
I Don’t Want To Do It Alone!
The only thing more fun than throwing myself into a pit of mud would be to do it with friends! So, what are you doing on June 1? Meet me in Dallas?
